The business quickly expanded, selling trim by the ton to major manufacturers and contractors. As demand grew, they introduced additional products like breather vents and roof drains. In the early 1990s, they launched their renowned Glasstrim GRP Trim brand, which remains their best-selling product.

In 1994, Ralph retired, and the business transitioned to Watts Clift Holdings Ltd., a family-run company. Under new ownership, Areco received consistent investment, driving sustained growth. In 2005, they moved to a larger facility in Aldridge. This allowed them to expand further, adding innovative and high-quality products to their portfolio.
